Kristina Thompson is very passionate about the game of volleyball! She feels so blessed to have the opportunity to impact young people’s lives while doing something she loves. Kristina has been the Director of Texas Fury for 4 years now and a head coach at Texas Fury for 5 years. She also coordinates and officiates adult volleyball leagues in the Cedar Park area. She is a mother of 2 and has been married to her very supportive husband since 2004. Kristina is a very motivating and positive coach, who gives 100% to her team. She believes hard work in practice, dedication to improvment, team work, mental focus and passion is the key to a successful player, team and season. Her goal as a coach and for all Texas Fury coaches is to be an influential and positive role model and mentor for each athlete during these vital years of their lives. She teaches all of her athletes how to relate lessons they learn on the court and on a team to real life. Kristina’s goal for the athletes in Texas Fury Volleyball Club is to train them to the best of their athletic and mental ability, create a deeper passion for the sport of volleyball, and finish the season an even better young lady than what they started!

Kristina’s belief as the director is to always stay focused on the eternal value in every decision made for Texas Fury Volleyball Club. ” If there is no eternal value in what I am doing, I do not believe there would be any purpose or reason to continue. I will bring Glory to God in as many ways possible with Texas Fury. That is my ultimate goal.”
