Graduating high school, Kalee Jones took a year off from volleyball just to realize that she missed being part of a team. Transferring to Howard Payne from Austin Community College, Kalee walked on to play for the Lady Jackets for 2 years at defensive specialist and gained experience about the game that she has a passion for in sharing with anyone who is willing to listen. Along with playing volleyball, Kalee was also an athletic trainer for the Howard Payne Jackets. A competitor on the court and helper off the court, Kalee gained the trust of her fellow teammates. Now entering her senior year of college at Texas State University, Kalee will graduate with a Bachelors in Exercise and Sports Science. Her goals for being a first year Texas Fury Club volleyball coach are to show these girls that it’s not just about playing the sport, it’s about knowing the sport.
